Oakland Scottish Rite Center
The Oakland Scottish Rite was built in 1927 by more than 1000 craftsmen mostly made of the members of the fraternity at the cost of more than $1.5. A sizeable sum at that time equaling more than 200M in today's money. From ground breaking to Completion the entire building was build in 2 years. This is the third such building in Oakland built by the Scottish Rite since it was established in Oakland in 1887.
